Greenpoint is the northernmost neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is bordered on the southwest by Williamsburg at the Bushwick inlet, on the southeast by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and East Williamsburg, on the north by Newtown Creek and Long Island City, Queens at the Pulaski Bridge, and on the west by the East River. It is a trendy enclave with an abundance of night life, bars, restaurants, and amenities including McCarren Pool and Running Track, cinemas, parks and much much more.


Greenpoint is bordered by on the South/South-West by Williamsburg at the Bushwick inlet, on the Southeast by the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and East Williamsburg, on the North by Newtown Creek and Long Island City, Queens and on the west by the East River.


Greenpoint offers a number of health and fitness options for the avid enthusiast. From swimming or running at McCarren Park Pool and Track, Yoga at any number of studios, pumping iron at the local gyms (including NYSC and Crunch) to CrossFit. The area also boasts a number of outdoor parks including McCarren Park, Msgr. McGolrick Park and WNYC Transmitter Park. McCarren and McGolrick park host weekend farmers markets and Transmitter Park has some of the most amazing views of the city.


Subway travel in Greenpoint is limited to one train – the G line. However, Greenpoint is also within walking distance to the Williamsburg or Lorimer L train. Bus options include the B62, B48, and B24. There is also an abundance of Citi Bikes and the East River Ferry for convenient and fun access to the city.
